How did you get started in fitness?
I have been very active my whole life. I always played competitive sports ad danced on a competitive team. I love the dedication of training and eating to fuel my body. It was a natural progression for me to find the world of fitness competitions once I stopped dancing. I am constantly looking for ways to challenge myself and I have a burning passion for health, fitness and nutrition.
What is your specialty with Team Bunny? I am a certified personal trainer but spend most of my time coaching girls on the nutrition side. I love helping women achieve their true potential!
What is your fav workout songs? Currently, it has to be ‘Work’ by Rihanna
What is your favorite workout routine? I love to train BUT I must say that my favorite body parts to train are legs, glutes and back. I am also big on conditioning! I absolutely LOVE conditioning days!
What is your favorite supplement of choice? I love my BCAA’s and Glutamine!! I literally drink them all day long! It makes drinking 4 L of water such a breeze and the taste is so yummy that it feels like a treat!
What are a few of your accomplishments in the industry so far? I finished off the 2015 season by qualifying and competing in the OPA Provincial show as well as placing top 10 in the Inside Fitness Model Search. Throughout the past 2 years, I have placed top 5 in five fitness competitions. I have been featured as a guest on Rogers TV and published in Panoram Italia magazine. I also been published as a writer by Muscle Insider Magazine, Inside Fitness Women, Eligible Magazine and contributed to the social media content for Muscle Memory Magazine.
If you could do one thing in the fitness industry, what would it be? Inspire and motivate women to believe that they can accomplish whatever they set their minds on. No matter how many obstacles are in your way, you can do it!
Who inspires you in the fitness industry? I am inspired by so many women! Lori Harder and Chalene Johnson are two that come to mind but honestly, the list is endless. I also have the most inspiring coach, mentor, partner and friend…JILL BUNNY!!! She is a huge inspiration to me!
What are your personal goals in the fitness industry & competitions? Currently, I am enjoying training hard and eating well. My focus is really on helping the women I coach and giving them my all. I also have some upcoming photoshoots booked that I am very excited about. In regards to competing, it is fun for me and when I am away from the stage for a few months, I miss it and can’t wait to get back. I love the challenge it provides and keeps me motivated in the gym.
Why did you decide to work with Team Bunny? I started working with Jill two years ago. I was drawn to her optimistic and dedicated approach to fitness. Her attention and love for her clients was exactly what I was looking for. The whole team is so amazing and I am blessed to be a part of it. I love that we are a family of women supporting women.
