Tell us about yourself! Education, work, family!
I spent 20 years working in dentistry as a Dental Assistant and Registered Dental Hygienist. In 2009 I was in a Motor vehicle accident and suffered severe whiplash.
I went from working out 6 days per week to being unable to do everyday activities without pain. After one year of waiting to get into a pain clinic for treatment I was told I should take pain-killers, sleep medication etc. had botox injections in my neck and chest muscles to stop the pain but I refused to take those medications....I refused to give up hope that I could return to being fit! I went to physio and the gym and worked hard, slowly doing what I could. I also had to choose another career that I could do long term without pain and went back to school for Nursing at over age 40 ! Since 2009, after the accident I have made it through the physical recovery, a marriage separation after 16 years of being married and it has been a long road but I have learned so much and |I am so thankful for everything and everyone in my life. I have a new partner and together we have six children ! Life is busy but wonderful!! kat 2










What do you like to do outside of the gym & regimented eating?
The gym is my hobby and when I am not with my family that is where you will find me !

What made you get into the fitness industry & competition? Is this your first competition?
This is my first competition and something I have put off for 10 years!!!!!
I first began lifting weights at age 18 at Gold’s Gym in Kitchener and fell in love with it! I was a regular in the gym creating my own plans up until one year ago when I decided to get a professional coach. Something I highly recommend! It changed my physique completely!!!!

Who inspires you in the fitness industry? Jill Bunny of course ! She is an amzing person and athlete!
Others that inspire me are Justine Munro, Camela Rodriquez-McClure, and Nicole Wilkins.

What is your cheat meal? If Bunny allows you one! Chocolate !!

What is your favorite body part to workout? kat 3
It’s a toss up between leg and back!

Why have you chosen to be apart of T​eam Bunny? ​I was told by a friend that she is very organized and is always available to answer emails and it is 100% true!

What do you enjoy most about T​eam Bunny?​
So many things!!! I love that my coach is a good person #1 Being a kind and giving person is what matters most to me and I need to have a coach with similar values :) Jill does amazing detailed plans! That is what helped me the most !










What are your personal goals in the fitness industry & competitions?

My personal goals in this industry are to be the BEST that “I” can be.
I have overcome many obstacles in my life and I want to show my children that I am a strong, determined and disciplined woman!
