Tell us about yourself! Education, work, family! Ever since I could remember I’ve always been into sports and being active. When I was a young girl I always wanted to do what the boys were doing. I never had time for dolls. I’d much rather skateboard or play basketball. Iv’e always liked helping people and I knew I wanted to do something amazing and meaningful with my life but I didn’t know what. So after high school I joined Katimavik and travelled around Canada volunteering. It wasn’t until I got back that I decided to finally go to College. I worked and saved enough money to get my own apartment in the Beaches area. A couple years later I graduated with an advanced honors diploma from George Browns Fitness and Lifestyle Program and got certified with CSEP (Canadian society of exercise physiology) I’ve been personal training for almost 5 years now and I love every minute of it. I am the youngest of 5 (two brothers and two sisters) I am engaged to the most beautiful woman in the world! And am a proud member of the LGBT community.

What do you like to do outside of the gym & regimented eating? I LOVE music. Music is a HUGE part of my life. I taught myself how to play the guitar during high school. And before I went to college I was in a scream punk band. We played shows all around the place and I love the stage. I’m not in a band anymore. But I do still write my own solo acoustic stuff. I play open mics around the town every now and then when I have the chance. I couldn’t imagine a life without my guitar and my mic!

What made you get into the fitness industry & competition? Is this your first competition? This is my first competition. I decided to get into competing for myself. I needed a bigger goal and I wanted to test myself and push my body to do something it’s never done before. I also decided to compete for my clients. I wanted to show them that I was willing to work just as hard if not harder than they were. In hopes to keep inspiring them to be the best they can be.

Who inspires you in the fitness industry? I always thought Jamie Easton’s body was bad ass. But I will have to say now that I know Jill and everything she has gone through. She definitely tops Jamie by like 1000!!! I look up to her and think she’s an amazing human being. I would like to be at her level one day. Not only in competitions but also in life.

What is your cheat meal? If Bunny allows you one! Everyone that knows me knows I’m a steak and potatoes kind of girl. So to start a nice field greens salad with KEG bread. NY striploin with a twice baked potato, side of green beans, mushrooms. Finishing off with a cream Brule!

What is your favorite body part to workout? I LOVE working my back because I just feel so jacked after. But honestly I’m a weights girl so I’ll take any chance I can get to lift. It makes me feel on top of the world.

Why have you chosen to be apart of Team Bunny? To be part of a community of women who have the same values, goals, women who support one another no matter what. It’s amazing to know that these ladies who I have never met support me and are willing to help with anything.

What do you enjoy most about Team Bunny? I enjoy the support

What are your personal goals in the fitness industry & competitions?
Just being on stage to me would mean I accomplished my goal. Obviously if I place I would love it but that’s not why I’m doing this. If the show goes well (meaning I don’t fall on my face) I would like to do another one a couple months later so I can grow my booty. I would like to attempt to get into fitness modeling maybe lol. I’m pretty awkward in front of a camera so that might not be a good choice. But I’ve always wanted to model so I’ll give it a try and if it doesn’t work out. At least I know I tried. I am working on getting a small business loan to open up my own all women’s fitness club. I am also looking forward to joining the bunny team as a coach and being part of a team of great female trainers.
