12 Week Transformation Success:
What steps did you have to do during your 12 week transformation to change your lifestyle? A lot of planning ahead, meals to make sure I was always prepared & structuring my day to make sure I could get my exercise in. I found having a plan helped keep me on track. Also a lot of soul searching to help keep my motivation, always reminding myself why I am doing this.
What was your goal for the transformation? To loose weight & inches as I have put on over 20lbs in the past year & to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle.
How did you feel during the 3 phases? For the most part great, some days were a struggle to have the energy to want to exercise and to have the will power to keep to my eating plan. As the body difference started to come about and I was noticing I was feeling better and clothes were fitting nicer the motiviation came easier, almost like it was an addiction...couldn't wait to go pump some iron lol :)
What was the best part of the process? Seeing my body go through changes, feeling good about myself & noticing my strength increasing.
What was your least favorite part of the transformation? Lets just say cutting out my pop and treats was not easy lol
Did you have a moment of weakness? If so, when and why? I had more then one of these moments. One would be in the very beginning when trying to get myself organized and have a plan in motion ( meal prep & workout schedule), I got a little overwhelmed and convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to do this. I also suffer from severe migraines and some days would make it feel nearly impossible to get through this, but I always had to remind myself that this is something I can not control and just day by day, one bad day does not mean to give up so if I had a day where I couldn’t push through and get my exercise done id just pick up and continue where I left off the next day. Another time of weakness that occurred a few times throughout the 12 weeks was having to high expectations and expecting drastic changes in such little time. I would get so down on myself and get so upset that I couldn’t do this, im not good enough, im not working hard enough etc etc. All untrue thoughts but when those thoughts came about it put me into some of my weakest moments. Lastly...caving into treats weakness lol...this I did a few times and would be super upset afterwards...but as Jill always reminded me, we are only human and can not be perfect.
What was the best thing about your journey with team bunny? Its an amazing team, they make you feel welcome and the support is awesome. Jill has been there the whole step of the way with me and when i was down she would always be there to remind me that’s its okay and give me supporting words. When going through changes its nice to have support from people going through the same things and knowing you always have girls to turn to for advice and support. Plus who doesn’t want to be a sexy bunny lol :)
What was your favorite food? Chicken
What was your least Favorite food? Fish
Was it everything you expected? I actually expected it to be really hard, I expected to not make it through but the support made it possible & I can actually say it was fun...loved the experience.
How did it feel to be apart of Team Bunny & have Jill Bunny as your coach? I loved it!! Team bunny is apart of me now & always will be. I love having Jill as a coach and cant wait to see what she has planned for me next.
When you were finished your 12 week transformation, what did you do? To be honest I went through a tough time (personal / family ), which put me on a huge set back. I've had time to realize what's going on and to take a step back and clear my thoughts. I am back to healthy eating and working in my daily exercise again...you really notice the difference when you fall off track.
What are your plans for the future with health and fitness? I will always carry with me the knowledge I had gained over these few weeks, health and fitness will forever be apart of me. I plan to continue as part of team bunny...and the thought is there that maybe one day I would like to work towards a bikini comp :)
Any tips or advise for new team members wanting to join the transformation process? My advise would be to go for it everyone starts somewhere. Set reasonable goals and always remember patience is key, your body is not going to change over night so just trust the process and enjoy!!
Anything that you want to add about the whole experience? I think ive blubbered on quite a bit already as to how awesome it was. I would recommend it to anyone considering to take the journey. You will learn so much and gain new relationships but most of all you will learn to love yourself & gain respect for your body. Its an awesome and life changing experience.
