Reconnect this Valentines... with YOURSELF!


Make 2016 the year of self-love. Its time to focus on you.. and what better way then starting Valentines? valentines

Throughout the next few weeks I will be carving time for self-love. How about joining me on this loving journey !

We all lead busy lives and may have families or significant others we take care of, making time for ourselves an afterthought. Let’s resolve to stop that now and start reconnecting with ourselves daily.
We are usually so concerned with finding ways to fill every single moment of the day socializing with people, through social media or in person. Spending some time alone is needed to recharge our mental batteries and regroup.

Over the next 4 weeks i will show you ways to incorporate self love into your life.  Feel free to buy yourselves flowers, go to the movies or buy those lush pair of pumps that you’ve been eyeing. That’s in the self-love category! I am sure of it.. I WROTE IT! :)

Block, Unfollow, Delete & Disconnect! 

  • Unfollow all of the Instagram accounts and Facebook friends that don’t inspire you or elicit positivity.

  • Block your ex's or people that consume your precious time. How many times a day are you spending unproductive minutes searching through their accounts to see what they are doing? MOVE ON!

  • Unsubscribe to all of the random e-newsletters that show up in your inbox.

  • Start thinking about limiting the time you are giving to others and reinvest it in yourself.

  • Turn your phone OFF after a certain time frame.

  • DO NOT put your phone in the bedroom, charge it somewhere else so you aren't drawn to checking social media.

  • Set time aside to finish that book or read a magazine

  • Pick up an adult colouring book and become relaxed while getting your inner child outbook

  1. 1) hot bath with epsom salts to relax muscles, baking soda to restore body's pH level, lavender Essential Oil drops for calming smell. Bring the radio in & play meditation or Chakra clearing music

    2) sit in the living room with only candles lit admiring the flames snuggling one of my cats
