The Infamous Grocery Shop!
Grocery shopping can be quick, easy and enjoyable. Here are some tips to ease the burden!
1. Pick the Ideal Time: Make sure you pick a day and time to shop that allows you to make smart decisions.
2. Don’t Go Hungry: Shopping while hungry is a bad idea when you are trying to resist temptations and stay on plan. Try making sure that you have had a meal before going into the grocery store so you aren’t tempted by the cravings.
3. Make a List – Before going into the grocery store, write a list of what you need and stick to it!
4. Keep to the Store Perimeter: Stay on the outsides of the grocery store. This is where you will find the staple foods you should be consuming; protein, fruits, veggies and whole grains.
5. Read the Labels: If you don’t recognize or know the ingredients, put the item back on the shelf.
6. Buy in Bulk: Bulk purchases save you time and money. Costco is a good example of a great store to get the majority of your purchases.

These are great tips. The grocery middle aisles can be very misleading. Terms such as "all natural" and "no sugar added" don't mean the products are healthy to consume. As you say - stick to the outside aisles of the stores is great advice.
